Making both functional and decorative pottery has been an interest of mine all my life. It’s so exciting to open the kiln at home or uncover pots that have been fired in a pit on the beach. You never know exactly is going to come out of the flames. I love the feel of the clay as I form it into different pieces. When the pots are all done, it continues to be about feel. Some pots ask to be held by just fingers and other pots want to be held by the whole hand. My greatest joy though, is when I look around the room and friends and family are all using pots that I have made. I hope you enjoy the pieces that you see here.
